Iron Dames is a unique and special project, conceived and supported by Deborah Mayer, French passionate driver, with the aim of promoting women's motoring.
In fact, for the first time in history, an all-female line-up consisting of Manuela Gostner (34), Rahel Frey (32) and Michelle Gatting (25) will be combining with a Ferrari 488GTE of the award-winning Kessel Racing team to compete in both the European Le Mans Series Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Project Leader of the program is Deborah Mayer, Ferrari ambassador for motorsport in the world with experience in Ferrari Challenge, Ferrari XX programs and GT Championships, always behind the wheel of the cars from Maranello.
Iron Dames is born from her innate passion for cars and challenges, combined with a strong desire to generate a new and added value project for motorsport.
Iron Dames, in the ELMS championship + 24H Le Mans 2019, is in partnership by Kessel Racing who is also officialy supported by the FIA (International Automobile Federation - the motorsport’s governing body) through the "FIA Women in Motorsport" program with the aim of promoting the growth of female drivers.
